2017...what a year it will be! I am praying that it will be a year of peace...but my soul is not so sure...my bones tell me otherwise...my goal is to pray and fast through this year like no other, and to encourage friends and fellow believers to do the same...either way, this year will be historic...what will you choose it to be? For good or for bad? Our prayers and thoughts can change the course of history!
If people really knew...that good and evil exist to the fullest and most relevant extent known to man...and that the devil, Satan, the evil one, is doing everything possible to make good and evil only a movie plot...they would wake up and begin to see...how much we all need to live...pray, fast and fight the spiritual battle that rages just out of our spectrum of sight!!
2016 for me, was a year of un-plugging from social media and learning...downloading and drawing back to God!
I have come to the conclusion that if every single person knew exactly, to what extent and reality the truths of the Bible extend, and how truly exciting it is to be a believer in Yeshua...every single person would choose to follow Him!
Let me begin...at the start of this journey...one loaded with crazy info, being downloaded onto me and the realization that this reality we live in, and the history we have been taught...is all a lie...!!!
My journey to this realization began by learning the lie...and what a lie it is!
I already have known for decades that the current belief in "evolution" and the way truth is being blurred into gray more and more, is the way of our world...but the thing I was most curious about, was, and is, also going to be used against believers...especially believers who choose not to KNOW the truth, down to the very last detail.
I love truth...God has led me to the truth...even without me realizing it, and has blessed my family for those unpopular choices we have made, over and over...God is so GOOD.
You must realize that Today, whatever is seen as controversial or a current myth, fairy tale or straight up "foil hat wearing conspiracy theory" is most likely, the truth...because guess what?! You can be sure, it is the way the world labels truth these days...as fake news, conspiracy, bunk and even "bad science"...because what is happening to those who find the truth and preach it to save others, physically or spiritually? These folks are attacked like no other...some are currently being murdered...while others are having their careers and degrees stripped from them...and getting their names and character dragged through the mud, if not worse (but didn't Yeshua promise this? Not to follow the world...that we would be hated if we followed Him and His ways?) What is interesting is...not all of these people are believers in Him either, yet they are all trying to save people...and they are martyrs of our modern day...and no one seems to notice them because they are kept too busy by their jobs, social media feed, or favorite tv programs...oh yes...the evil one is sly...it is time believers wake up and become just as sly...which is only possible with the Holy Spirit though...Gods covering. It is the only thing that can protect and help win this spiritual, inter-dementional and physical battle we are ALL in, whether we like it or not.
IT IS Time to choose a side folks, now is the time, and to get your armor on!!
And hold on to your butts...this reality, if you truly want to know what the battle (and life) is about...be prepared...it is about to get wild...more wild than any blockbuster movie...this is what I have found...even those close to me think I am crazy...but I am not the author or creator of this truth!!!
Didn't God say, in HIS word...that if He can not tell you of earthly things, (if you will not believe them) then how can He tell you of heavenly things?!
John 3:12
This is where we currently find most believers and churches. I will not judge, but I KNOW most folks choose not to learn the truth of God's amazing word and the REAL history...history that satan himself tries to hide from not only Christians...but everyone...for what purpose??
To win souls...away from GOD...why?
Because we are at war...war for the soul...your soul.
Good and Evil does exist...so much so, you should be asking yourself...what side do you want to end up on, for eternity?
Now I would like to rewind a bit, so you can join me on my journey.
This journey has been so amazing, that I know I would be in trouble with my heavenly father if I kept quiet about it...by this time last year, and even before that, in 2014 even, I began a journey to the other side, just to learn the truth. It tested me, it tested my faith, and God brought me closer to Him...when I almost lost my relationship with Him, by trying to find the truth...without Him...
God is so good, all the time!!!!
I have never been too curious about aliens...but seeing the rise in movies, documentaries and even strange lights at my new homestead at night, it all continued to lead me to believe, there is a truth I was missing, that was being hidden...by whom, by what reality...what is it?!
And so I started to question...without fully asking God for the answers first...BIG mistake...but He kept me safe still!! Others have gone down this same path and gotten quite hurt...physically, spiritually, eternally...
GOD is so goood!!!
I began to find what I thought was the truth...first up was Zecharia Setchin and his books and research about ancient Semarian texts and what they actually say about gods and our human history.
He said he was a believer in God, only a scholar seeking the truth, so I thought that was safe enough..and I trusted his word and research...
But as I got into his "research" and the story he told...I began to be taken away and down a new path of thinking...the Ancient Aliens series on tv is exactly where it lead...
do you know the series, have you watched it?
There is some truth in it, but it leads to a dark and scary place...one without God, without a purpose for humans and without good and evil...only of alien gods who "created" man as slaves...and one told that we humans are to expect them to come back and be our gods...but for no purpose other than to fear and worship them as our benevolent creators...
how bleak...how sad...how hopeless.
NOW think...if satan were real...what would be his purpose...if God's purpose is LOVE?
Ya...the evil ones' purpose is the exact opposit of love...which is?
Hopelessness. No purpose. Slavery. Destruction on every level we know...and every one we do not know!!
I began to believe this...and it was depressing. I believed it because of the ancient technology and archaeology shown in books and popular docu-series, that make alot of sense out of the current lack of knowledge that all scientists supposedly have of our current lack of human history!!!
But I kept searching...all the while, my dislike and disdain for the things of God, grew! So did depression and anger...
Then I was tested...with my husband...when we found our "homestead". A place we wanted desperately but would come at a great cost to both of us. I had to put my "research" on the back burner and get through this hard hard time...of being homeless and somewhat hopeless in our crazy endeavor of remodeling a home with not enough money...then finding that place to call home...and then building it from the trash heap it was when we found it! 9 long months of remodeling by my husband, and 9 long months of being preggo, with 2 toddlers in tow, being supportive of my hard working husband who hated what we just got ourselves into!
And you know what? God got us through. He was so good to us...but we had to go through the HARD, to get to the good...life is like that...we don't grow, and we don't get anything good...unless we have faith, trust, and know where to put those things...right in God's hand....and aren't those two things...faith and trust, exactly what our current society and world is fighting against? Isn't the current push to get all of our faith and trust to be put in "the government" so that we don't have to "work" for anything?
THAT my friends, is directly against God's will for our lives...and frankly, against the laws of the universe...because it breeds....hopelessness and depression...go figure;]
SO....last year...we finished out that trash heap of a home into a beautiful work of art (thank you to God's goodness and my capable husband) AND welcomed our third beautiful daughter into the world at the new home! Wow...what a start to 2016...and what a purpose God would put into me...and the knowledge He would allow me to learn...He is so good!
God knew I LONGED to know about His-story, down to the last physical detail...I love love love details...and He allowed me to learn some of the details:] Would you like me to share?
If not...if you enjoy your ignorance and bliss in this matrix we call the "fallen world"...then keep on living in that ignorance...but God does say...people will be destroyed for their lack of knowledge...including "HIS" people...so to me..that means...we need to know the details...for living on this planet!
And if you don't want to go on your own journey...well that's fine...perhaps that is why you are reading this??
SO that I can help get you some of those details without you having to give up that time!
Let's go back to the Bible to kick this crazy-ness off!!!
God is so good all the time!!
Genesis 6...read that to verse 4 and tell me what you come across....Nephilim...!!!
What in the world are those? AND why don't our churches teach more indepth about this?
yes...why? Perhaps...because the devil is in the details in the church....hum???
keep reading..."The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose."
NOW...who do you think the "sons of God" were? Who was created before men? Was not Lucifer- AKA - Satan, the first who was created??
and verse 4 continued..."--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."
Do you think, the Nephilim were the fallen angels? And what do you think happend when those fallen angels had their way with earth women? Children...
Now why do you think these offspring of the "Nephilim" were called men of renown?
Now think...why are there so many old tales, fables and stories of Giants in folklore??
Now think also of David and Goliath...it is not just that Goliath was "big"....he was from a tribe that came from the original Nephilim...and he was one of 5 giant brothers...
also think back to the stories in the Bible in where God's people fought many tribes...the Philistines, for example, and there is a reason God's people were fearful...because they were fighting giants of 32, 24, 12, and 10ft tall, to give some historical perspective...!! (Yes, I said historical because these skeletal remains HAVE been found across the planet). And here is another reason God's people were called "God's people"...because they were 100% human...no DNA or bloodline degradation by the fallen Nephilim! That fact alone sheds light on a LOT of Bible stories that before, might have appeared heartless and mean from an "all-knowing God"...once again, I think the devil has gotten into the details of even our Bible stories, and it has made it's impact among the Christians...lack of knowledge does in fact destroy...faith in this case!!
AND why in the world, as I have many times wondered in church, would God tell his people to go out and kill, murder whole towns and villages, but not to touch any of their gold or livestock...in fact, to kill the livestock as well...sounds pretty cold hearted and barbarous, right?! WELL...not if those tribes and villages were cannibalistic human eating giants who wanted nothing but the death of every known human on earth...because they were from the spawn of the fallen angels...makes more sense...it also make the Bible more viable..and not such a fairy-tale, YES?
Now ask yourself...why AREN'T the churches teaching the Bible like THIS? Again...perhaps it is because the "devil had gotten into the details" of every church in order to slowly dilute and dis-regard the Bible's validity...for the very reason of destroying God's people...from within His church...how has this happened??
Perhaps it DID begin by taking prayer out of school almost 60 years ago...perhaps it DID happen when kids started dating more often when they got the keys to the family car, and abortions began to seem normal...perhaps it happend also, when we all started believing that God was only real when we wanted him to be...and that we don't live every day as the MIRACLE God intended it to be...and to live "apart" from this world...
When you give satan a foothold, no matter how small...he takes it!!!
Gen 6:5 "The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become..."
And when Jesus was asked what the end of the age would look like, when He promised his followers he would come back? Jesus said, and I paraphrase, "the days will be like in the days of Noah".
Now what in the world does that mean??
Let's go ahead and pick that apart...as well as Genesis 6:4 again...."the Nephilim were on the earth in those days...and afterwards..." (right there...they survived the flood) uh oh....
YEP....the men of renown were still around...makes sense...Satan stuck around, so did his offspring...BUT...do we have PROOF that these "giants" roamed the earth?? Believe it or not...this is the part where the "cover-up" comes in, hahaha
pictures anyone?
http://humansarefree.com/2014/09/the-great-smithsonian-cover-up-18-giant.html
and right here in Arizona...on a ranch...just as has been happening for 200 years...people have been digging up these giant skeletons of all sizes, (around the world too of course!!!) and usually they were red haired giants, then the finders, usually homesteaders or ranchers, would call the authorities...and the Smithsonian comes in and the remains disappear...hum....
http://greaterancestors.com/prescott-arizona-giant-skeleton/
Here is a boat load of historical evidence on the giants:
http://www.genesis6giants.com/
If you have gotten to know American Indians and the story telling they do from generation to generation, they too tell stories of red haired giants stealing away women and children, to eat...and how hard it was for them to kill those nasty giants. This is like many of the stories that most of us "modern folk" don't believe...yet...it's the history they know as fact...since it came from their great great great grandparents' lives!
Here is an awesome show with a chief and his wife talking about American Indians' link to Hebrew/Jewish people, it is 3 hours, so scan through it, or listen to it instead of perusing facebook;] But it is a FUN
fun fun listen:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og_YWTsOze8
Time to once again...re-think our history and who has been telling it...remember...the victor of wars and humanity gets to tell the "history"...even when they re-make that history into the story of their choice....which appears to have happend to us...pre-columbus....and even Biblically....
Now why in the WORLD would the Smithsonian want to cover up such amazing finds?? Think they have an "evil" agenda??? Now think...is the Smithsonian enjoying teaching about creation...or evolution?? Doesn't evolution push that we were made from nothing, crawled out of the slime, and none of us have a purpose?
yep.
Right there...cause guess what these giants point toward?!!! That the Bible is REAL and TRUE FACT.
ahHAHAHA!!!!
and guess what? God is once again proving, like He promised...that the truth can NEVER be covered up...and He is allowing the truth to be unveiled, this is just one HUGE example...now take it, savor it, enjoy it...and realize...we MIGHT be coming up on the end of the age...how exciting is that?!!!
unless....you don't have a reason to be excited?? The reason to be excited?? Because if you belong to God, and have asked Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, in your heart, and the Holy Spirit to come into your heart, mind and soul and lead your life...then you have chosen your side and you side with God...the maker of LIGHT...the maker of Truth, the maker of LOVE...
and if you are still on the fence...consider the other side...
also consider the things that God has allowed to come to the light recently...especially about our current government...the horrendous phedophillia ...Hillary being a full blown witch...who loves Satan and enjoys killing babies...you may not have heard this side of it...but guess what...the dark side of many things are coming to light...and you will HAVE to choose a side soon enough...the dark side is pure evil, and at the moment, it is enjoying trying to be seen as the cool, trendy side with technology appearing to be amazing and growing more indepth into our everyday lives...even though most folks seem to enjoy this invasion into our minds...at what cost though?
I digress a bit...there is so much more to dive into....
Did I also mention that the evil one had a LOT of ancient technology that we still marvel at today and still that info is kept hidden from us?!
Who do you think built the pyramids...the many many cities like Machu Picchu and the pyramids in the Yucatan...they are so LARGE...you don't think those natives made them do you? haha...don't you think very large "creatures" or "entities" put those into place? Or had crazy technology to "melt" rock or stack stones? Do you think a 32 or 24 or 10 ft tall giant would have trouble building those structures? Hum......
Don't you also think that the God of the universe...who created everything...also knows a thing or two about...what we call science?? The more we learn about science...the more it aligns with...the creator...just start learning about the significance of vibrations...what songs can do...what radio waves can do...WoW...what even sound can do at different frequencies...and you MAY start to see the handwriting of GOD.
Now...to the dark side...which is not nearly as powerful, thank the Lord...but it does still have a technology in itself and of itself...a technology that is still trying to be kept hidden!!!
Again...God is revealing many things right now...but are you ready to hear, see and recognize them for what they are?
Have you watched the ancient alien docu-series?? Well, no worries if you haven't.
You need to realize...there is always going to be truth thrown into great lies in this day in age...it's called deception...because it's really hard to decide what is true!!
Well...the things I think are funny in those docu-series is that there are old paintings of Jesus (we are talking 12th and 16th century paintings having flying saucers painted in the backgroud of them) as well as reallllly old artifacts that look just like flying "jets" made out of stone by ancient peoples...HUM....really?!
Now...fast forward to...today...
since the 1940s...there have been hundreds of thousands of people who are not ONLY seeing flying objects...but having "horrible" alien abduction encounters...
let's face it folks...most all of us just once again chalked that up to...BUNK...crazy drug or alcohol induced talk...what the heck, right?!!!
WELL..now we are having more and more people who are experiencing life long alien abductions and what they sometimes want you to believe are peaceful and "good" abductions. Recently, along with the bad abduction stories...there are more and more psychologists who are pronouncing these abductions as real, after many valid studies and tests of these subjects, er humans...
WhA?!!
Ready for the truth? Because behind the weird...God always will have answers...and the church NEEDS to wake up to it, before the people in these churches are overcome by GREAT deception coming soon to a flat screen or cell phone near you!!!
People are being abducted...and what does the church do? Our society has so greatly painted these abductions as "bunk" or just "bad juju" or "bad food" or "bad dreams" that even Christians refuse to sift through it or look into this junk for the truth, but there are a few who have, praise God...as there are Christians who end up having these horrible experiences themselves!
THEY have no where to go...unless they have quickly learned to go to Jesus during these experiences...you got it folks...out of thousands of UFO-ologists trying to figure out this "phenomena" of "flying saucers" and "abductions", there have been a growing number of Christians who have learned of their authority in Jesus Christ!!!
Those Christians who have had sleep paralysis and the feeling that something is in their room, or at the end of their bed...have called out the Name of Jesus...even while some of them were being levitated into the air..and their experience stops! PRAISE GOD!!!
AND folks are coming to Jesus when they LEARN the truth...about these "aliens"
YES...are you getting it?! ARE YOU SEEING the deception?? the TRUTH?!
When a turd is called by another name...it is still a turd....
Aliens...if they can be stopped by the name of Jesus...what do you think they are?
Do I even need to utter it?
Demons.
I have had my own little experiences...God has been so good through out this experience of learning...His protection has covered me and my family...and I am praying it will cover you too, now that you have read this, and take it to the Lord in prayer. I have seen many strange lights in the sky at night, now that we live in the country, just south of the Grand Canyon, with a wonderful 360 degree view of the sky and our expansive valley...and I was listening to one of my favorite speakers months ago, Steve Quayle...and he also said, if you see unknown lights in the sky...REBUKE them in the name of Jesus, Yeshua even (as is His true Hebrew name)...because you could be saving someone else from a horrible experience, as well as you and your family.
I have done this a few times when I see strange lights that are not planes or helicopters...within minutes they disappear...while they would be blinking and hovering slowly in place near our valley!!
God is so good!!
HOWEVER, if you do not yet know Jesus in your heart, I urge you, get to know him.
I hope I have laid out to you, that aliens ARE demons...not only do they know the name of Jesus...they know if you know HIM, or not. If Jesus can change man's heart, he also changes man's DNA, and our electrical frequencies to be in connection with him...just as these demonic entities know the word of God very well, they know what they can and can not do to those who are under the protection of the God of the universe.
The Bible is not only the word of God...it is the law of the Universe!! Makes sense since He created it!
All this being said, I hope you still have a handle on your pants!
Because...the truth, and our reality continues to grow stranger...I thank God for the truth and the power and the safety we have in Him, it is a never changing truth and love!!
For the power we have, in HIM, is to trample on snakes and scorpions....do you know what He really was describing?? satan and his minions...God has given us such power...we as His followers need to LEARN NOW, how to put on that armor, and take dominion BACK...do you know why??
Because...just as in your favorite sci-fi movies (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings) we are in a current time period where the dark forces ARE gaining a strong foot hold, and evil armies are being created and growing for a physical battle, war even...and a dark power has come over our world, and our reality...no one can deny this...the only way to keep it back, and to fight it, is to KNOW our power in Yeshua...again...the light IS stronger than the dark...but NOT if the light chooses to be quiet and be power-less. Again...knowledge is POWER...and this knowledge is ONE of the things GOD wants us all to have!!!
A few more realities that are coming into our physical reality and the current dimension that we live in...is CERN...have you heard of CERN and how they are trying to "find" the God particle? How ironic...because on the outside of the "science driven quest" to try and figure out how their heydron collider works...it is also a ruse....once you get to know what their top scientists are really doing...trying desperately to get into another dimension and to pull whatever they find, back into our dimension while also holding satanic rituals when starting up certain "experiments", you will know...we are ON a collision course with something supernatural...very very soon...and God and His army are choosing to keep them from tearing the veil just yet, into our dimension of what will bring the "end of the age" and Yeshua's coming!!!
OH this time is so very very exciting!! BUT, we need to temper it with much prayer...and fasting...God has given His children the ability to affect time, space and reality with our "free choice", of choosing Him and his side...or not...and when we DO choose Him, He also gives us the ability and tools to affect change...those being our relationship with Him, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit and how we use them in our lives...and prayer...and FASTING.
FASTING...if you can do nothing else than learn the importance and significance of fasting in 2017, I URGE You, please do so. It is scientifically and supernaturally a God given tool to open the doors to change. I am also learning this significance personally. It is HARD...but it surpasses dimensions in order to get our prayers heard and answered by our loving Father.!!!
AGAIN...I can not tell you how amazing it is to be a follower and lover of GOD! Life will never be boring and you will be excited to be a solider in the army of GOD...are you ready to choose your side? and AWAKE?!
I am ready...but I would be more ready and willing with friends and believers by my side!
I pray for your 2017, that it comes with clarity and knowledge of the fight we have been called to...that you shoooo the gray out of your life and take hold of the truth...because once you know truth...once you know light...why would you choose the dark??
That liquid dark that only chooses to destroy that which God loves...look at what it has done in your lifetime!? The millions of babies that have been aborted? The nations upon nations torn apart by war and starvation...alot of this DONE by our NATION of the USA because not enough Christians have stood in the gap by prayer and fasting!!!! WAKE UP YE PEOPLE!!!! God is demanding that you flee from your comfortable and boring life...to come away from this world...because it is just an illusion...wake up before you are woken rudely by what happens next...I do not know if it will happen this year...there are many things that could happen....I pray against it because I want more peace time to raise my children....but we need to pray, and WAKE UP.
This is my prayer...WAKE up...revel in the history that has been hidden, go on your own search...enjoy the journey, but be prepared for the coming battle, and thank GOD for every moment of peace we are enjoying today!!!
One more crazy bit of truth...the giants are still here, on earth...and our soldiers in Iraq have come across one...most of these soldiers are told to be quiet about it, and it is a GREAT story among those touring in Afghanistan....here is that story....

SO why not vaccinate?! Perhaps it's because God says not to....
After reading a few awesome articles recently posted by doctors, scientists, PHDs and parents doing more and more of their research, since our government and medical agencies refuse to create and do the studies and research FOR us, the people....the tides are starting to change about the validity, and most importantly, the safety of vaccines.
SO, as a Christian, and I am speaking to my Jesus peeps here, not asking anyone else to care unless they are truly curious as to why they need to be concerned about vaccines...why do we parents get a knot in our stomach as soon as our Peds mention giving our child the next round of vaccines?!
Even if you have been convinced they are necessary and safe??
Could it possibly be that God is speaking to you through that still quiet voice of His, that your pastor constantly talks about on Sundays but you constantly wonder what it actually sounds like?
I believe this is EXACTLY it...because God wants to protect His Children...and this is exactly why us mama bears have built in "stress-o-meters" or aka, a direct line from GOD on how to keep our children alive AND healthy while growing them up, under our care.
If you have not read this amazing article that I and my other Christian non-vaccinating mama friends are sooo very excited about, please check it out before reading any more of my words:
http://www.livingwhole.org/god-does-not-support-vaccines/
The HUGE part of my blog that I want to get across, is the fact that so many of us non-vaxers are called irresponsible parents, abusive for allowing our children the vulnerability to get diseases and just plain un-neighborly because we allow our un-vaccinated children in public. WHY are we so persecuted, and given such a mark of evil in this world, when more and more science continues to pop up proving JUST the opposite...just as antibiotics kill alll the good flora and fauna in the gut and leave the body open for more illness and disease, more and more doctors are finding this same fact about vaccines, that they actually destroy the very immune system that every touts they protect...and while we non-vaxers supposedly spread disease, it is actually those who are vaccinated that "shed" the very diseases they are vaccinated for (doesn't that make more sense? LOL)...I am beginning to feel as if we non- vaxers, who enjoy VERY good health and rarely become ill to the point of actually needing medical intervention AT ALL, are becoming the new generation of "Jews" in a sea of Nazi propaganda...
You may think that is going to far, but here are a few facts about what God says if you are not convinced at all about vaccines being dangerous, not only physically, but spiritually for our walk as well.
Will You see, God calls us to be different from the world...a different that will hurt our being popular...not only different spiritually, materialistically and emotionally, like our churches seem only to preach...but WHOLLY different from the World...and now that I have two very healthy children, and see my friends who do not vaccinate also have very healthy kids, I know one of the HUGE reasons why God calls us to be different in every way possible, because he is protecting US and our children from the harm this world continues to try and inflict on those most innocent.
We already know babies are no longer sacredly protected, as they once were in this nation; what makes parents think that doctors and Pediatricians, who will so easily encourage a pregnant woman to get an abortion on a whim, will also push vaccines for the safety of your children? They are doing what they are told, as many of them have no idea what vaccines actually do for or against the immune system, unless one of their children happens to have a bad reaction (as this spurs MANY doctors onto their own journey of research).
There is not only a spiritual battle waging for our spiritual lives for us and our kids RIGHT now, but a physical one as well.
Does the verse come to mind...that the Lord says "let nothing enter your blood" ring a bell? That we should not partake in or of any modern "sorcery", which by definition from the old Biblical language translates into our English language as "pharmacia"? Coincidence?
NO. There are no coincidences to those of us who WHOLLY believe in the word of GOD being perfect and perfectly translatable to our LIVES.
SO, if you believe the Bible through and through, I strongly urge that you start taking a deeper look into how this world says we need to raise, feed, and medically treat our children. Vaccines are one of the best places to start, because they cause a LOT of issues we are now seeing in our children...the worst being cancer, death and autism (aka brain damage), the lesser are food allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases to name a few of the hundreds of thousands of side effects.
Again, I like to parallel this with a favorite movie phrase..."Take the Red pill and see what really lies on the other side of the reality you think you see before you." I was not a huge fan of the Matrix before this crazy unpopular journey after having my children, but now I am;] AND I truly believe this is what God calls us to do, and I don't think we can reach the next spiritual leap to be closer to God until we take this physical leap from our world, and the battles being waged against our children, and us (especially if your and your children's health is not where you want it to be)...even though, as parents, any battle against our children is far more important than battles against us, because they are our future and our responsibility from the Lord, right?!
Here is another amazing site from a scientist/PHD who was hired by the CDC to "research" immune systems and how vaccines benefit the immune system...well...after alot of her own research she came to realize how harmful vaccines are TO the immune system and how they do the exact opposite of what they say the do...they actually spread disease and create harm to almost every facet of our bodies/lives. Why do you think there has been an explosion of cancer within these past 10 years? Could it be the rise in chemicals, animal DNA and aborted baby cells/DNA they continue to amp up in vaccines??
http://www.naturalimmunityfundamentals.com/home
She now teaches classes and conferences on how to BEST naturally build up the immune system (just as God designed us)
BTW...if we believe in a perfect God, why are we telling Him, His design is flawed, by each and every vaccine and medication we take, instead of seeking His ways first, which are the ways of old, the ways of what the earth gives us to combat every ill known to man??
These things being Herbs, Cleanliness, and past history of those who have come before us and used natural remedies to cure just about everything under the sun!
AND, to finish out my passionate blog on this subject, something I just have come to realize more recently...this is not a new fight/battle for our children, this is not something that has cropped up since the amounts of vaccines have increased since the time we were children (10 vaccines from age 1 month to age 6 in the early '80s) to now our children are subjected to 47 going on 50 within the next year, from age 1 month to 6 years. Hence the huge amount of children, if not ALL children, who are vaccinated, who have some range of autism, asthma and food allergies or auto immune disorders that can also completely destroy a child's personality for the worst!
Thank the Lord He provides healing, STILL,through such methods as food and herbs and other natural elements that we can all seek out through little acknowledged professionals in the field of natro-pathy!
My point being, after reading this history about the Raggedy Ann doll from the early 1900s, I was blown away that there were issues with children dying and parents having their children be vaccinated without consent even then! This is not a new fight...but it's a battle that we all need to stand up for before it gets worse...In my mind, it is already worse since most of today's children are SO VERY ill.
However, vaccines may become mandatory, and nurses across the nation are already facing this and being fired if they refuse the flu vaccine...how much longer do we have before they are doing the same to our children, and to us?
We loose our freedoms if we do not fight for them! So, let's fight and most importantly learn WHY we need to care about the safety concern of vaccines and why the media, government and medical conglomerates are trying to hide this from us, by making us fear diseases our bodies were naturally created to fight! Like the chicken pox!! (BTW, Measles were the chicken pox of our grandparent's day...so funny to hear my grandma talk about how they were not a big deal even back in the 50s, if you were a normal child back then;)

The only conspiracy I am trying to get you to consider, is the conspiracy to raise healthier children for the sake of Glorifying God AND for the sake of having a healthy family:]
Much love everyone, I only speak out on this because God has told me to do so. I know I will be ignored and made fun of...but I do not care...when God speaks, I listen, and doing so has made my children and family so VERY wonderfully healthy, and I can not keep quiet about this, because it is such a blessing, even though I am a very unpopular mama.

Melly Belly

Sustainability and Emergency Preparedness go hand in hand!
The two things I love, in one sentence!! Sustainability and preparing for our families future in each of our homes. How can we do this on a budget, even with crushing debt, all the while prepping our scabbards and flushing our homes of needless things in order to become a better working, more peaceful home and family unit, gain more connections in our community, get healthier in the process, and obtain that fuzzy buzz word "sustainability" and come to know what it really truly means beyond the fancy magazines and modern lingo?
If you are already on the road to sustainability, CHEERS, and kudos, it is a fun journey that is also a hobby in this day and age;]
I have homework for you!!!
Please go check out my new favorite book, "Zero Waste Home" by Bea Johnson, a french woman who is rocking our consumerist world right now, while raising her family!
It has been a treat to sneak 5 minutes of reading in, a day, to learn how to better organize my home, and de-clutter all in the name of my family's health, and the wealth of knowledge the betters our earth and children's future.
http://www.amazon.com/Zero-Waste-Home-Ultimate-Simplifying/dp/1451697686
I recently had a close friend warn me, that the "writing is on the wall" in regards to our security and economic luxuries, and that we don't have much time left of freedom or peace here in the United States...and things are going to get very bad on almost every front, politically, economically and naturally (with a whole slew of natural disasters) both world wide and here in the states. Alot of us already have felt/known/predicted this anyhow and have tried our best, within our own separate means and living situations to prep. But how in the world does one prep for the complete unknown, especially when we all feel it may be the worst thing almost any generation as been through? It's a bit intimidating and can quickly lead to fear.
Having knowledge of how to prep, and doing it wisely, slowly and purposefully will help, whether hard times are only 6 months, or 2 years or 10 years away.
We can NOT let it control our lives either, and if you are a prepper, or thinking it may be a good time to consider prepping just a LITTLE to help your family, whether it be for job loss, natural disasters, or an extra long winter, I have ALOT ideas for you, on how to get started, and to not freak about our unknown future. Life is too short to worry about what is coming down the pike and around the next curve at us...it is time to ENJOY now, and prepare for the future!
But how does this mesh with being sustainable, you may ask?
Now, just consider this, if you want to be, or wonder also how to be sustainable in your everyday living, how do you go about it? It seems like sustainability is the "green" buzz word these days, but it is a buzz word because it is saving a LOT of people money, and getting even more people and families out of debt!
Here is the very first idea for you to ponder and take seriously about becoming sustainable in how you live and enjoying a more simplistic home life. Questions: Where do you shop? How often do you shop, and what do you shop for? Are you a gotta-buy-it-cause-it's-on-sale kind of person, or even a browser because-there-is-nothing-better-to-do shopper? These are traps our modern generation has fallen into, and if you are wanting to become not only sustainable, but SELF-sufficient, and as a side effect, prepared for emergency situations, this is the first mind set you are going to have to change!
Think about it: Wal-Mart and Target AND Sam's Club/Costco layout and plan out their stores so that you can't go in and just GET what you need, they make the basics (produce, house supplies) in the VERY back of the store and put all the fun "goodies" in the front, so you will be tempted to "shop" and buy a lot of stuff you never intended on buying in the first place!
SO, first mind-set/habit change to becoming more sustainable. STOP shopping for what you DON'T need. I can understand if alllll you can afford for food is Wal-Mart, but PLEASE, if all you can afford is Wal-Mart/Sams Club, just stick with the unprocessed food items, it is LESS expensive (this is another marketing trick btw, processed foods, which make us fat, sick and poor) while natural foods are more sustainable to you and your family, and just plain healthier.
The next step is moving more towards buying EVERYthing local. Your food, your clothes, your household goods.
But STOP there for a moment.
Also consider this for a moment: The next step to becoming more sustainable, is owning LESS stuff. A cluttered home is a stressful place. Have you run out of room to put all those random shopping trips of STUFF? And when you have less stuff, and more room in your living space, you will feel more at peace AND be more motivated to continue the sustainable lifestyle goals, which will be stated below!
SO, second piece of homework, which is the action to take part in: Begin to de-clutter your HOME. This always begins with the mind set of "what have I not used for the last year". Start slow if you need to, and take advantage of things like craigslist and garage sales, even facebook to sell the items you begin to realize you can live easier without!
The best part of this piece is that it will also give you a chance to make some money!
Therefore, take a few months to PURGE. There are a few fun websites out there for helping you get started, and stay motivated, and decide how "minimalistic" you want to get, but I tell you, once you start, that alone is the motivation to keep going and reduce, reduce, reduce!
Here is one to get you started in the bedroom closet!
http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/2013/05/24/40-hanger-closet/
This, I feel, is the BIGGEST most sustainable change...having fewer clothes and less laundry:] Especially if they are quality clothes, which will last longer and most likely, look better on you anyhow.
For my kiddos, I honestly only have 5 sets of shirts, pants and undies for them during each season...sometimes more like 7-10 tops/shirts. Only have 2 pairs of shoes usually, so we can afford the more quality shoes, and aren't tripping on shoes every season, or loosing them! Our favorite for the kiddos, since we hike/snowshoe and are outside quite a bit, are Keens.
you would not believe how HARD it is to loose items the more you pear down your belongings and stuff...that is an awesome feeling and way less stressful...when you've 'lost' your keys and it only takes 5 minutes to find them because everything in the house is mostly in it's place, even with kids toys everywhere, and the house only take 15-30 minutes max to pick up before company comes over....this is true success in a household, especially a household with children!!
And another site, which walks you through ideas and the excuses we all make for keeping stuff, and good solutions for how to work through them!
http://www.oprah.com/home/Discover-Your-Clutter-Problem/1
I do believe we as Americans ALL have a clutter problem, and may NEVER be able to completely get rid of the majority, especially if we are married with kids, lol. BUT, getting rid of things, especially when we can get a little money back, is SO motivating, spirit lifting and inspiring for a PEACEFUL home that you will WANT to come home to:]
Another thing to consider, is to start buying everything USED. Start shopping at Good Will and other thrift shops for certain items BEFORE trying to find it new. For example, I really want to get a pressure cooker for cooking dried beans in under 20 minutes, and a cast iron waffle maker before going to amazon or ebay, I have been hitting up craigslist, and Good Will...even though I haven't found these items in the last month, even year for the cast iron waffle maker, I'm holding off, because I know it's going to be more expensive to buy new, even off ebay! AND, I've noticed, when I don't quickly "buy" something and ful-fill my "need" for it right away, my brain does something different. It doesn't crave MORE STUFF, like it used to when I would just go and buy what I wanted on a credit card, or at a store (Like Bed, Bath and Beyond). When I make myself or hubby wait (because we are also no longer using credit cards), our "urge" to buy stuff diminishes! Amazing!
So, second piece of homework, if you haven't yet done it, begin to wean yourself off of these big box stores...cause guess what? If they close their doors when there is a "disaster" because their shelves have been cleaned out, if you have already weaned yourself from not needing what is ON their shelves in the first place, you won't EVEN think about Wal-Mart/Sams Club/Safeway and Frys or even Walgreens, as a needed option for stocking up if and when times get bad FAST, due to a local disaster. Because here is the second part, when you wean yourself off of these stores, and begin to make all the things you used to "think" you needed to buy, not only are you saving your family precious money AND being more sustainable, you have officially become IN-DEPENDENT of these companies wanting your money for no good reason except to make THEM money!
Second part of becoming sustainable and prepared for emergencies.
Start MAKING your own cleaning and grooming products now! Start slow, or do it all at once, however you feel most comfortable. Most of us mamas need to take it slow, due to lack of time and having a lot of products already on hand...so start to find recipes for these things when you being to run out! Here are the examples of what you can make, but just FYI, you can make EVERYthing you currently buy for your grooming and cleaning needs, AT HOME!!
LIST of ideas on what to get started, for trying and making at home!
The beauty of our technology right now is the ease to OBTAIN these recipes...pinterest is an awesome example, but google is wonderful too. Take advantage of these and begin to try them, then make binders or file folders of your favorite recipes that your family enjoys. I will include a few sites I have found with recipes just to show you all how easy it is. And again, it saves you money, is sustainable because of the lack of chemicals in these products compared to what is being bought, AND you may even see your health get BETTER because of these basic ingredients;] Our families' health has surely benefited. Example: hubby's cavities he had 2-3 years ago have pretty much been healed from our baking soda toothpaste, and now bentonite clay tooth powder, coconut oil pulling (which is mouth washing with coconut oil) AND our move to eating all our food unprocessed and as organic as we can afford:]
Grooming:
Toothpaste, http://thankyourbody.com/all-natural-homemade-toothpaste/
deodorant
eye cream
shampoo
hair jel
lip gloss http://foodpluswords.com/2012/03/homemade-mint-chocolate-lip-gloss/
body lotion
Cleaning Products:
All purpose cleaner
carpet cleaner
bathroom cleaner(s)
window cleaner
dryer sheets http://www.savvysugar.com/Homemade-Dryer-Sheets-27044025
laundry detergent http://arealhousewifeandmommy.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-laundry-soap-over-350-loads.html
dishwasher detergent
furniture polish
hard wood cleaners
mopping solutions
homemade Oxiclean! http://arealhousewifeandmommy.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-laundry-soap-over-350-loads.html
OK, so these are just a FEW of the cleaning and grooming products you can make according to your household needs; I do think the fun-est part is coming to the realization that we no longer have to BUY it all, and the majority of the time, we have already on hand what is needed to MAKE these products in a simpler, safer form! No longer hiding cleaning products from the kids is awesome...who cares if they suck on the nozzle of my all purpose spray as I clean the carpet or floor? It's just citrus infused vinegar and castile soap, the worst that will happen is they'll get the runs for a bit;]
The second part I want to hit on is Emergency Preparedness. Let us think back a few years...to the Japan earthquake, even though it is harder to put our thoughts into a location and people we are so far from, think about what they went through, after watching "Mega Quake" on Netflix and learning how intensely crazy that earthquake was (the strongest EVER recorded in history at a 9 on the rictor scale!!) and how much they lost and continue to loose with the slow meltdown of the nuclear power plant, I wonder, how long will it be when we have a similar tragic event somewhere here.
The government says, store at least 3 days of food and water...but is 3 days enough? It's enough to keep you from having to rush with the masses to Wally world and Sams to buy these things off the shelves, but then what? Especially if re-locating to where other family lives is not an option due to other possible factors (like no more gasoline at the stations, or roads cut off)?
The Mormon community encourages at LEAST 2-3 years of supplies! What a neat goal! This is just another reason I LOVE these two buzz words, sustainability and emergency preparedness...and how well of a marriage they make without most of us even realizing it!!
Ok, one more trip down memory lane...remember back now, to Katrina...most of us were also removed from that disaster to a certain extent, not having friends or family there most likely, but after again, watching a few documentaries on the aftermath and even on the slow re-emergence of the community, we need to REALIZE that the government may not or can not come to our aid as we think they will. People were stranded, without water or food, with horrible flooded conditions for over 3 weeks!!! The only ones that helped these people out for that period of time, besides nearby states, were the small businesses and local people who had the aid and resources to give! Local restaurants used the food they had left/stored and not able to refrigerate due to power outage, to prepare and give away to hungry communities right outside their doors!! And one of my favorite documentaries on Katrina's aftermath and new emerging/evolving community comeback is "Independent America". Go check it out on Netflix! ( I love documentaries...should get a bumper sticker that says that, lol).
SO, with that bit of info now swimming in your head... What is more important to you? To have food and water on hand for any change in our current living standards? Or to pretend we live in a fantasy world where our nation is so secure that nothing like this could possibly happen in OUR lifetime.
OR, perhaps this is the time to start making small changes, especially if you and your family are in debt.
This is the MOST sustainable act to move towards...because once you don't have any "extra" bills eating off of your income, true self-sufficiency and freedom breaks into your life!!
Go check out Dave Ramsey for his debt busting formula, and start today, kill those credit cards and build your savings!!!
http://www.amazon.com/The-Total-Money-Makeover-Financial/dp/159555078X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393783969&sr=8-1&keywords=david+ramsey
One of my favorite things to do these days, now that our family has also moved to a completely unprocessed food lifestyle, is to buy grains in bulk, our favorite grains, and enjoy a plethora of variety in our diet!!
To begin to move in the direction of sustainability, you must start at HOME. The best place to start is your diet, especially if you or your family members have trouble keeping the weight off, health issues that persist (which most likely can be healed with a diet change...just another area to open yourself to learning...food heals just about everything, including autism, Alzheimer's disease and cancer, don't believe me? Start to google it now!) even IF, by the modern world's standards, you are eating healthy. If the weight is not coming off, even when keeping an active lifestyle, there is something wrong.
KEEP IT SIMPLE my bloggy readers, and remember these basics
The best way to eat is to eat like our great grandparents (farmer/local based dairy/meats/produce and grains)
Get enough SLEEP before you even think about exercising...cause sleep is a basic NEED.
Especially for parents with small children...just sleep;]
Get enough SUNSHINE! And if you can't due to weather or even work circumstances, find a safe natural supplement for vitamin D.
These are our most basic needs, do this and you most likely will cut down on the amount of illnesses your family gets on an annual basis by more than half, while loosing weight without much effort!
Also, start to think about the basics you would need, to NOT have to shop for groceries, for two weeks... and go from there in length of duration, and even have a goal of preparing for 6 months to a year of supplies. Our great grandparents did it out of necessity 80-100 years ago just to survive, so it is totally do-able, it has just become a lost knowledge in our convenience and "fast food" driven society. What are the basics? Water, not in small water bottles mind you, but large ones (I would start with 5 gallon reusable containers with spickets and go up to 15-50 gallon if you can via storage abilities where you live), and re-usable water bottles and water filters. Light sources without batteries, old oil lamps (my favorite) and candles and matches or other fire making sources that can make a spark on their own (go check out your local outdoor gear store!). Camping head lamps are awesome to have! Fun as well since they encourage camping, lol.
Long shelf life food, non processed (my preference for nutrient dense foods to get the body farther along in times of trouble), would be dried beans, lentils, oats, rice and canned goods (though I prefer to get glass canned goods for quality and nutrient rich foods). As well as potatoes, onions, garlic and squashes that if stored in the right cool and dark conditions can last over six months (this is how our great grandparents got through winters btw:!)
Another quick self sustaining idea for you all and then I'll end this post, which could inevitably go on forever, because, as a part of becoming self sufficient for emergency preparedness and better health and sustainable living in general is becoming a DIYer, simply by learning how to cook with the best and basic of ingredients, as well as learning how to do a lot of things from scratch...garden, fix broken items in the household, buy quality USA made items as much as possible, hike and camp more, for learning how to live off the land and gain family time together to grow in the right direction and exercise of course:D
My word of advice, LEARN. Pick a topic of interest (food, cleaning, earth made energy like solar, metal working, bee keeping, gardening, animal raising) and don't stop learning. The best thing about throwing yourself into a new "hobby" for self-sufficiency is the fact that you will not only grow, but you will most likely meet and make friends along the way who will help you meet your goals and create a more complete community.
THAT, my bloggy reading on-line friends, is the MOST important part (secret) to becoming prepared for any emergency AND becoming sustainable in every aspect of the word...COMMUNITY. We can not establish, create, grow or thrive by ourselves, we just can't. We must have others to help us in every aspect of life. That is the way the human race has been designed. We do our best work when we work together.
SO, go out there and kill that debt, prepare your family for an emergency (whether it be a job loss, natural or economic), and get yourself away from having to rely on OTHERS, especially the places you are forced to shop right now for your most basic of needs. And DO NOT stop LEARNING.
Because when we stop learning, our spirit dies, and then the body follows.
Toodles bloggy buddies, and to our future, may we flourish and thrive no matter what is thrown our way...we must start with our neighbors and local community, however!
CHEERS!
If you are already on the road to sustainability, CHEERS, and kudos, it is a fun journey that is also a hobby in this day and age;]

CHEERS!

These parenting days...oy.
BI-polar-ism, it has landed in this household. I truly believe anyone who says they are bipolar, is because they are a parent...anyone else who says they have it without children, should watch babies and toddlers by themselves, 8 hours a day minimum, for at least a month without a weekend, and then realize what mind control they have given up to the pharmaceutical companies. HA.
One moment I'm happy as can be, my world is decently organized, dinner ideas popping into my head, and super excited to have all ingredients in my household.
The next moment I'm raging inside because older sister has picked up her sister and dropped her upside down while trying to put her in "her puppy jail". With me yelling as baby is screaming.
Next five minutes, I'm apologizing for yelling at older sister.
In the following five minutes, I've left the room to try and start the laundry, and baby sister starts screaming bloody murder, I rush to see what has happened and ask big sister what is going on...she has this innocent look on her face, which I know is a lie. Can't get the truth, as I'm now trying to settle baby girl down, trying to determine if it was self induced OR if it really was sister induced. We'll never know.
And this continues all. day. long. Moments of calm, hours of raging emotions. Leaving the house is better, but alot of the time I would rather stay in and have a day of controlled naps, eating food, and select chore time and a bit of mommy down time by stealing 5 minutes here and there to read, or see what my mommy friends have texted me for the weekly options on playdates or fb updates.
Then I look down and baby girl is chewing on big sisters dirty shoes...or we've missed a pee...or sister has taken the living room and her room to a new level of destroyed in less than 5 minutes flat, but hey, she wasn't watching Curious George:D
Or my phone has gone missing in 2 minutes and big sis has re-programmed it and now baby girl has it in her mouth...wondering if I need to blow dry it??
ahhhh bi-polar-ish should ONLY be a stay at home parent "ism", as anything else is just a physiologist trying to make some money on a diagnosis, that we allllllll know, sunshine, walks, exercise, and nutrient dense food WILL cure, as well as enough adult talk time and a good work environment (again, not a non-parent issue!!!)
LOL
ahhh once again...mine as well laugh, cause you know you'll cry if you DON'T...
now on to pinterest to find an inspirational breakfast for dinner idea!! Because it's been one of those days.
Toodles my parents, and stay away from the drugs...even overdosing on caffeine doesn't help...and if the sun isn't being your friend today...go watch some bloopers, or your kids slapping each other in the face or what not...enjoy a quick quiet laugh, then tell them it's not appropriate;]
xoxo

p.s.
I had the wonderful opportunity to threaten my toddler, that if she doesn't clean up her toys by the time daddy gets home, I won't make scones for dessert and those said toys, will disappear for a long period of time (which usually means forever, in a toddlers time zone).
I have a feeling I'll be once again cleaning the living room, but I'm eager to find out if this "disappearing toys" act will work in our household, by following through with it...cause other friends have said it doesn't work...guess we'll find out once all the toys are gone....oh well, they'll seem like new when they come back out in a few months;D

Wal-fart, who really needs them?
Yep, harping on Wal-Mart yet again, cause personally, our economy and lack of good jobs for the lower classes and destruction of small businesses since their inception into our society is mainly THEIR fault. Greed, and all the other box stores who have bought into Wal-Mart's sales model, are at fault.
Guess what?
EVERYONE is going to pay soon, if not already, for shopping their 'low prices' and 'china crap'
Honestly, I don't understand why so many people are addicted to Wal-fart.
Seriously, after kicking them to the curb over 3 years ago, I buy less, save more, and focus our family dollars on WAY better food and products.
The only thing I am guilty with, is the fact that I still have and use a Sam's Club account...still trying to break the ties to that lynch mob of a bulk store tied to Wal-mart...I too can not find bulk vinegar, contact solution, and ECOs laundry soap for a better price. But I think I'm gonna have to just take my own advice and buy those 3 things somewhere else, just so we don't have to shop there anymore!!
Only thing I'm proud of is the fact that I don't need to go re-stock these items except for every 6 months...that fact alone has me searching out other places for these items I need, so we can cut the cord of dependence to Sams fo-pa Club, lol.
If I can ditch Wal-fart and Targ-pet, so can you! And if I can ditch Sam's Club this year for better buying options, so can you;]
Cause guess what? the only way we are going to re-establish a better economy and save our country from the economic ruin we are destined for, is by investing our dollars in our own local economies and doing our best to change habits; buying less junk, finding more local options for alllll of our needs!
I can't tell you how awesome it is to need something, search for it on FB or craigslist and get it for a quarter of what I could have bought it new! I may have had to wait 2-3 months or weeks, but who cares, we Americans are also addicted to "FAST and NOW", it's one of the reasons Christmas time is so horrible in this country, we've lost all self control and patience for the most simple things in life!
AND, I'm saving all that extra money to spend on preventative care and health by buying EXCELLENT quality food and making my own cleaning and grooming products, where and when I can!
SO, tell me again why Wal-Mart is a must have in your household? Give me a serious reason, and I'll give you an even more dire reason to STOP.
Did you know those grumpy and un-helpful employees of Wal-Mart (even Target is guilty) that aren't helping you with ANYthing, is due to the fact that they are considered full time employees at 28 hours?! And at minimum wage, on top of that, their own employer says, "we can't afford your health care, so go apply for medicaid". WHICH, btw, we are allll being forced to pay more for each year, as there are no more government funds to pay for this, except for those of us that are blessed with decent and good paying jobs!
PEOPLE. please Listen, The ONLY way we are going to change ANYthing in this country, is person by person, and you can start by how you spend YOUR ONE dollar, your grocery money, your clothing money, your furniture money, and yes, even your entertainment money.
The possibilities for saving money other than going strait to Wal-hell, has never been better!!
AND, if you are trying to pay off debt, you REALLY need to consider learning how to become a Do-It-Yourself-er
If you are raising kids, you realllly need to learn how to thrift shop, make toys, WITH them even, and make sure the toys you DO have aren't increasing the toxic load of you household (did you know families with autistic kids, take all the plastic toys away, along with a diet change, and end up changing their autistic child to a highly functioning practically normal child, in every wonderful sense of the word?!)
SO, that could also explain your kids random bouts of ADHD...plastic is sooo toxic!
And Wal-fart is notorious for plastic...know where that plastic goes after you are done with it? China, India...yep, those poor kids and families over there get to pick through our plastic crap and try to make some use of it...all while burning the bad stuff and getting sick for the fumes.
Cause really, who is going to throw a wooden toy away? when it breaks you can FIX it, when you are done with it, it either becomes a family heirloom for the next kids or it is passed on to friends, or sold. Have you seen a wooden toy sold on facebook? The things are practically rioted for, and for good prices. The plastic toys? Those can't even be given away for free...they are ugly, annoying, usually require batteries, and leech bpa and other many toxins directly into the skin when touched. Plastic is made to be disposable.
Don't get me wrong, plastic has a wonderful place, it has just been OVERkilled...now that we can not possibly get away from it without appearing like a crazy hippie who only wants to touch trees and lick bees.
Honestly though, plastic is the new addiction in our day and age, that should be seriously sifted through in each of our homes and passed on for items of old, or just for the purpose of having less, because less is soooo much more, especially if you are raising kids!
Think Barbie for a moment, a fine and PERFECT example of the generation we live in and are teaching our kids to be a part of, the Barbie Song for example: "I'm a Barbie girl, In a Barbie world, life in plastic is fantastic" Do we really want our girls, especially, growing up to be Barbies? Expecting mom and dad to pay for everything, including the spending habits we are teaching them, through our own ways in our households?
NOPE.
Just think, every dollar that you spend, not only at Wal-fart, but at the dollar stores, Target, and yes, even Babies to Kids, goes to China...and I'm not even talking about the people of China, we are talking, the GOVERNMENT of China...who suppresses and kills their own female citizens.
SO, why aren't we all focusing on keeping our dollars here, with us...and buying better quality items, better food, and creating better jobs...and for goodness sake, if we can't find it American made (which has been or problem lately trying to keep ALL of our dollars here in the USA), then MAKE it! Saving time in this country has been our "excuse". NO MORE friends, no more.
Because of these shopping habits, all those time savers in our life has flipped us upside down and sucked that same time away from us.
I don't know how else to get everyone to seriously consider a STOP to shopping the big box stores...cause the dollars are only paying the rich CEOs, encouraging them to stay greedy and richer...while making our world a more crummy place with more poverty stricken individuals who can not pay for even taking their kids to the doctor when a serious illness hits because they can't afford (or led to believe) they can't afford good food.
REALLY, do we want this?
You decide, with your dollar. Want tips on how to start getting out of the habit and enjoy the fact that YOU TO could skip the mayhem and craziness of Wal-fart by never placing a foot in their store again?
Check out Pinterest, craigslist, facebook selling groups. Go to Thrift Stores, go to Etsy with all those dollars saved and support AMERICAN artists and crafty stay at home moms!!!!
I will always give tips and tricks that we have learned...the learning never stops! And when you learn, you grow and thrive!
Another reason I DETEST Wal-fart...cause they make things so easy for everyone, that once you are fully dependent on their "cheap" prices and china crap, you mine as well just hand your entire paycheck over to them, cause you are also handing them your health and life!
Why do you think the majority of Walmartians are overweight and sick and riding in those annoying little wheelchairs that move erratically on their own??? Because their products are toxic. I Guarantee, the week and months following the end of Wal-Mart in your house hold, you will see a positive change in your life...can you handle that?
Whether that be loosing weight, gaining energy from unknown sources (like the sun), depression quickly leaving your brain, and the foggy-ness for over-processed food, also breaking you into a real knowledge of what Wal-Mart stands for: The destruction of the human race, one American zombie human at a time.
Seriously.
Think I'm crazy?
Have Netflix? Go check out "Store Wars" and my new favorite about New Orleans in recovery mode "Independent America"
Then come back and tell me what you have learned. (did I just dish out homework?! Yessss:)
Ready for the change of your life time, and possibly a way EACH of us can be a part of changing our nation and OUR individual economy for the better, via health and shopping?
Choose to start your journey, Wal-fart free, then later Tarpet free, and then eventually Sam's Club free;]...especially if you are already a huge DIYer...I think it is time to break away from the addiction of Wal-mart for good. I'm on board, gonna cancel that addiction, I mean membership today!!!
You will see more of your dollars!!! I'm on board, are you?
Signing off--

Co-Sleeping: Conundrum? Taboo? Or Ancient Wisdom?
I've been wanting to share and list the many the benefits of co-sleeping for quite awhile, as hubby and I have been experiencing them! And Yes, I said benefits!! I LOVE co-sleeping...I loved it with one child, and it is making my life easier with two babes so far;] After almost two months of baby life, again, getting both girls down for naps and bedtime by myself has been a snap. Plus I am loving the good sleep and naps I am regularly getting because of it too!
When I was laying in bed a few months ago, all these benefits of co-sleeping just kept poking at me, as well as the realization that co-sleeping is not a "past, ancient and poverty stricken" practice, as I believe it is seen here in the states. In fact, hubby and I feel blessed to be able to spend as much time with our babes as we can, putting them to sleep and waking up next to them is amazing, hubby says so every day. And that is why I know it is the right choice for US:]
Now, I just must say, it gets me in the wrong place and sad at heart when I constantly have people in my life telling me that my child NEEDs to be in her "own" bed. And that it is wrong to sleep with our children. This may be some people's perception and belief, especially those who have the luxury of living in a 2-3 bedroom house, but I KNOW for a fact that it is not wrong, nor does God condemn such a basic sleeping situation. Because every time we condemn a lifestyle we know nothing about, nor have tried or truly acknowledged as "someone else's" either comfort zone OR only option, then how can we judge? Every time we tell someone they are wrong, but have not walked a mile in their shoes, or lived in their dirt floor one room hut with 3-5 children and tell them they are not honoring God, we are the ones that bring sadness to God's heart. This is why I feel God has been DE-Westernizing me and my hubby through raising a child, and now a second, and all the other lifestyle changes we have been making, either through choice, or through God's perfect timing and leading to the better health and well being of our family!
SO, the main reason I have fallen so in love with co-sleeping is because I feel it allows me to connect and feel what other parents across the ages, and across the world, feel! Though we all know the MAJORITY of the world have NO choice on their sleeping arrangements with their children, I do know it is as MUCH a joy, as a pain in the butt to co-sleep. There are pros and cons to everything. BUT, I love the fact that I can NO longer look down on co-sleeping families anywhere, like I used to do before I knew what it was like or even if I wanted to try it in our pre-kid age. But it does amaze me how judgmental Christians are, more than any other people in the nation right now, about co-sleeping! How can we be?! When, like I said before, most families across the world don't even have the luxury of having a second room, let alone the security to LEAVE their children in a second room, and most of the time relish the bit of protection they CAN give to their children by sleeping with them at night while their lives most likely are torn by their individual countries' political or religious violence that we are so lucky to ONLY hear about in the news, and not witness first hand...so far.
With that said, I again relish the fact that I have ONE thing in common with these humble, and many times, praying peoples, praying for US and our overly-plush lives, and yet we are so ignorant of theirs!
With that said, I am now going to delve into the benefits many of these parents don't even think TWICE about, because of their humble living, and even though these benefits are not even benefits to most of us in our current lifestyles, I think they are STILL worth mentioning, as many of them can also be lifesaving, without us even realizing it.
But my favorite saying has been, if it's working, and you get MORE sleep with what you are doing, why fix what is not broken? That is our situation right now, we get 8+ hours of sleep a night, why the HECK would I put my babes in another room, for the sake of the girls having a "bed of their own" only to be woken up and have to practically kill myself running across the house when my girl has night terrors or has to go pee, or I need to nurse the new babe...which is what is going on right now...either I or daddy takes older sis to the potty once a night, and I wake up on demand to nurse, and then instantly fall back to sleep.
hehe, ok,
moving on!!
Co-sleeping Benefit #1
-Less lost sleep during all night feedings, teething, which is the first 2 years of life off and on at no given time, as well as other growing transitions that hinder our little ones to sleep through the night. AND, most importantly, when our little ones are sick; when my little one is sick and has a hard time sleeping due to congestion, or a fever, or throwing up, I can not BEAR to think about sleeping far from her, because of various choking, crying, or breathing issues that arise quickly and suddenly and take my heart on a race even right next to her, let alone if she was in another room and I were listening via a monitor.
I feel we BOTH get better sleep through sickness when my little is close to me...which I think a lot of non-co sleepers do anyhow!!
Benefit #2
If you think about it and (want to) embrace minimalism, keeping kiddos in your room can also force you to keep their clothes and other basics in your room as well, which in turn can also reduce the amount of clothes that you use on them! I keep two drawers for both girls, reserved for a small amount of clothes, which forces me to only have a few season appropriate outfits and thus also reduces the laundry load, as well as the "storage" load, even though I store more clothes in "their" room. It also forces me to purge their outfits every few months with the changing seasons to keep their drawers from overflowing. But it is another benefit, as it is less laundry and stress in my life, love it!
Benefit #3
If, heaven forbid, the house catches fire, or there is a natural disaster such as tornado, flooding, earthquake, or even a break-in, to have your children in your bed, you do not worry about getting TO them from the moment your eyes open, as you know they are with you, and you (and your partner) then only focus on protection, either getting them out of the house, seeking shelter, or keeping a burglar from coming any further into your home!
Benefit #4
No worries about SIDS (as studies have proven, mommies and babies sync their breathing patterns when sleeping next to each other and thus, mommy wakes as soon as baby is in need, this is what I do, and even though I wake numerous times during the night, it is not anymore than when I was pregnant having to heft myself out of bed to pee 5+ times a night), no worries about crib malfunctions, sleep walking babies getting out of the house (my father actually escaped from his house quite a bit as a toddler!), and also, as we have all heard about recently, random furniture falling on children or other accidents that can happen when children sleep in another room.
*(hidden) Benefit #5
This one is going to be a "I see the glass as half full" type of benefit. As most of us don't see this as a benefit! You will not, most likely, be able to sleep in as often, or ever because the kiddos will most likely awake before you, the sleepy parent. However, waking up at the same time or earlier than you wish does allow you to keep THEM from getting into too much trouble if you were to sleep in, as well as, gets your days off to a early and productive start! Breakfast together, or activities together in the morning are memories that will not quickly be forgotten when you are finally an empty nest-er and can sleep in as much as you want, without any snuggle time too:[
Benefit #6
Your babe will inadvertently want to be closer to you throughout the day. I have heard this from numerous co-sleeping parents, as well as experiencing it myself. Even in the house, as I do chores or just go about the day, if I have been "absent" for too long, my kiddo comes looking for me, when she was just walking, she wouldn't hardly stray in the house, in fact, she only got in trouble if I happened to be in one room too long doing something (as in making dinner and she would decided to de-pot the kitchen cabinets). I still don't have to worry about her getting into to much trouble because we constantly are looking for each other if there has been silence for more than 10 minutes...I love it!
Benefit #7
Co-sleeping with multiple children from birth for each, well in this case, two: naps CAN be easier during the day as babes and toddlers prefer snuggling to fall asleep, and if the parent(s) fall asleep too, just forget about all the "stuff" that needs to be done and enjoy! We need our rest too for heaven's sake! Life is too short to only worry about dishes and laundry...take a nap when the opportunity presents itself, or start making a bit of an opportunity if you need one;]
And here is my take on "their" own room, I figure that when we do transition them to their own room, it will be easier to transition two kiddos who have been born sleeping almost next too each other since birth vs. putting a kiddo in a room all by themselves, especially if they are not wanting to be by themselves anyhow (which was me as a toddler and even young kid, and now that is my daughter!)
*random Benefit #8
Thunderstorms are no longer a reason for fear, in our household (as they were for me growing up), as they are now transformed into a time to snuggle up and enjoy a show! In fact, I have noticed that both babes don't even wake during storms if they have already fallen asleep, and I am still more freaked out by loud thunder than they are!
So take it or leave it, these are a few of my thoughts on co-sleeping benefits...I think it is kind of fun to compare these to what people in one room homes would benefit as well?
I think it is always great to get a chance to think outside our wonderfully safe and lavish lifestyles to at least ponder how everyone else must live, even if we aren't blessed with the ability to go and see it with our own eyes. Just thinking about others will continue to make our hearts more humble and thoughtful to the needs of those not only in our communities but to the rest of the world needing just a bit to survive and perhaps thrive:?]
This is just another part of how I love learning about "Living simply so that others may simply live". In this case, it is just an awakening of how crazy rich we are, and how this richness and security can easily overtake our lives and make us ignorant and less thoughtful of others who do not have such luxuries!
So, ENJOY how you get to live and raise your children, and now I wonder how we can give a little to those who need "just a little to simply live"
:?]

Summer girl's Birth day story!
So I haven't been totally eager to write out this birth story...perhaps it is the lack of sleep and available time and arm space these days, or perhaps it is because of the stress and mental toll it took on me to wait for this baby, all to end up feeling a tad bit guilty once everything fell into place and worked out perfectly, and things could have gone quite wrong. You see, I had my dates wrong. I DID refuse an early ultra sound just for the fact that I didn't want to subject me or the baby to an annoying piece of radiation if I could help it AND it would be just another bill to pay. I was certain that my period date was September. However, it turns out, my date was off by an entire month...and it was completely my fault. As much as I could feel guilty over the possibility of having had a really really early baby because of the due date that was assigned, God {and my hubby's constant encouragement} showed me through this that He and our bodies do JUST what they need to, especially when given the time, nourishment and mental peace required for a healthy pregnancy.
The last four weeks of this pregnancy, I was having serious contractions, they would stop and go, stop and go, really freaking me out at first, and then driving me up the walls, once I had hit the "37 week" safe mark. As my 42 week over-due date approached, I grew more and more stressed, wondering what was wrong with my body. Even though hubby stoutly continued to tell me that I shouldn't worry, my body was doing what it needed. The only thing that kept me sane really, was knowing the baby was estimated to be no bigger than 7 lbs even at 41 weeks and 8 days!!! AH! So...the entire week past 41 I was having contractions everyday, that felt decently real, but would stop every time I would eat or sleep...same thing happend with Leenah. In fact, with Leenah, being 5 days "over due" I decided not to each lunch or dinner one day because I was pretty nauseous...and went into labor at midnight, lol. SO, midweek of 41 I did skip dinner just to see what would happen...NOTHING...I was super hungry though. Well, I went back to what the midwives kept telling me, eat if you are hungry. The days kept passing, and I would wake up each morning thinking, well...another day this babe decided to sleep through the night...just hope they want to sleep through the night this much on the outside!
June 24th came and the midwives sent me for a dreaded ultrasound, because the babe's heartbeat wasn't accelerating enough after measuring when they moved and turned. And the ultrasound was perfect, like it had been with Leenah when we did the same thing. With Leenah I was afraid she had switch positions one night and got an ultrasound days before she was born, that ultrasound also showed that everything was in it's place, lol. The only OTHER thing that kept me sane during this time was having my good friend Andrea, whose due date we 'thought' we had shared this entire time, of June 16th, and this is her first baby, was also just as late as me! She was going to be sent for an ultra sound that week too. Well, that night, Andrea texted me to say she was in labor and that the midwives were coming over. (yes, we were also sharing the same midwives) and the entire time of our pregnancies, my mommy intuition told me that we were going to go into labor either very close or at the same time. So as much as I wanted to be happy, I was actually quite sad...I think we all know why, lol.
Andrea had her baby girl, Charlotte, at 2:50am on June 25th.
That morning, June 25th, dawned a bit dreary for me...in fact, I actually had a complete melt down because I didn't want Beau to go to work. We were both SO drained from "hoping" I would go into labor so he wouldn't have to go to work, lol.
I begged/cried for him to just take a long morning and breakfast and not rush off to work. And I was having painful contractions once an hour since getting up at 6am that morning...but that HAD been the story of my life for the last 2 weeks, and being so upset that morning, I figured that my stress and flip out was just triggering the painful contractions. WELL, nothing spectacular happened to make him stay home after breakfast so he headed off to work as my mom headed over to "hang out" with me and Leenah and keep us company. She too had been hanging out and patiently waiting for the last week and a half for things to get going...all of this subconsciously put a HUGE stress on me, whether I tried to deny it or not...almost being 42 weeks is stressful anyways with the impending threat of being "induced" and taken to the hospital for "tests" anyhow...UGH.
Well, the midwives had set up an appointment for me to come in and get my membranes swiped that morning to once again try and get things rolling steadily...OH did I mention I had been 4 cm for about 8 days already? Yep, the midwives had come over the previous Monday, June 17th, due to constant contractions, checked me at 4 cm and left all their equipment because the contractions weren't consistent enough...just 20 minutes apart.
SO, yet another stress, as each of those 8 days passed, I became more frustrated. In fact halfway through the week I just flat out refused to go shopping because I was sooo tired of bumping into people who kept asking why I was still pregnant. UGH!!!
Well, after going to the midwives office and missing their call to tell me they were going to halt any increase to my labor, so they could rest from Andrea's birth, for at least 24 hours, I sat in the parking lot of their office and woke my poor midwife when I called her. All the while, sitting in the car with my mom, the contractions suddenly popped up to 5 minutes apart for half an hour. Dual reason to wake my midwife, right? Well, she said, sleepily, to call her back in half an hour once I was home, if they continued!
Got home, and they had relaxed back to about 15 minutes apart, but were painful and took a bit of concentration to get through. I was sure things were happening today! Then my mom and I decided that we should call Beau to come home for lunch, at least. He agreed. It was 10:30a at this point.
I can't even remember if I ate anything, I think I had my last dessert, and enjoyed it at this point (brownies and ice cream!).
After the ice cream, things really sped up. They jumped back up to 5 minutes apart. So I called the midwife, who was still trying to nap:![ and asked her to come over to check me...even though I didn't want to be checked (which was one of the joys of going so fast with Leenah, no one bothered me, lol). BUT I and my mom, and Beau, also didn't want them to miss another birth!!
The midwife said she would be over in half an hour so she could take a shower, but to call her if I thought things were dire and if she wouldn't have time to dry her hair, hehe. So my mom and I started prepping the tub...which had been sitting full of water since the 17th, and we had emptied and refilled this morning...and started to fill it the rest of the way with hot water, finally, I was so looking forward to that warm tub!
Twenty minutes later the contractions were still 5 and now 3 minutes apart, mom and I kinda freaked out and called the midwife again and asked her to hurry. I knew this was going to be quick, we both did, and we did not want another solo birth, just for our peace of mind, and the midwives happiness to be present, lol.
Just then Beau got home, so we COULD have gone ahead and had the baby at any time, hehe.
The midwife got there a few minutes later and checked me...I was still only 4 cm. She decided to check the babies heart beat through the contractions...and then they slowed to 15 minutes apart, as we waited for 45 minutes to catch a heart beat through 3 contractions, UGH!
The second midwife showed up and they decided they were going to leave for awhile due to my inconsistent contractions again, but began to set up all their equipment in our room and bathroom. As they did that, which took them half an hour, my contractions went back up and stayed at 2 minutes apart the entire time they set up their equipment! It was official, and Beau and my mom were NOT going to let the midwives leave, in fact, Beau went ahead and set up an excel spreadsheet and "charted" my contractions as my mom timed them for me, as at this point, I was having to have Beau "hug" me and press my hips, as this was what gave me enough comfort to get through the 2 minute contractions lasting longer than a minute, as this point. It was 12 or 12:30 now. The midwives came out, Beau showed them the excel spread sheet and they decided to stay, and of course checked me and said I had a laboring cervix. Well, I already knew that...and At this point I knew it would NOT be long. In fact, it only seemed like minutes, before the contractions REALLY started to get intense, where I could feel them realllly low and knew exactly what they were doing. I decided it was time for the tub!! Strange thing was, with Leenah, I was able to lean over the ball and get relief with Beau pressing my hips, but with this labor, I couldn't sit or bend over, I had to stand through it all. Took me a minute to figure out how in the world I was going to labor comfortably and managably in the tub! I got on my knees and faced out, and had Beau lean down on the other side of the tub, where he didn't have to get in, and I hugged him while on my knees. Knowing what happened the last time I got into the tub, only having 3 pushes and Leenah was out, I knew it was going to go fast...in fact the next contraction that hit, I PRAYED I only would have a few more because it was so intense, I didn't know how much more I could take. Another one hit and I quietly mentioned to the midwives that I could feel the baby moving down, I was probably in transition!! They quickly got into position! The next 3 contractions I was pushing. Her head came out on the second contraction slash push and then the rest of her came! My butt was just enough under water that my midwife was comfortable catching her in my current position, which was still on my knees with Beau hugging me. The midwife guided the baby out and in between my legs and instantly onto my chest! And as much as I was surprised to see that she was a girl, I was also flabbergasted at how much she screamed. She screamed the moment she was out of the water. It was 2:34p on June 25th!
She screamed for the next half hour! It scared me because Leenah hardly made a noise when she came out! But hey, she was breathing!!! After getting to the bed and having her rest on my chest, the placenta slowly came out. Then they set it beside me and let it pulse while little Summer calmed down. Thank goodness everyone was there, because my mom was with Leenah in the living room this entire time, in fact Leenah had fallen asleep until she heard her baby sister cry! When all was good, Leenah came in with Grandma and said hello to her new baby sister!!
After I got cleaned up a bit, started nursing within the hour and the midwives were happy with both of our recovery and progress, the cord was snipped after pulsing, daddy got to hold his brand new baby girl and mama had the strength to get up and go take a shower, with the midwives mindfully keeping an eye out to make sure I would be ok. WoW, I felt like I had done a 10 mile hike, but I felt GREAT! I knew it was the adrenaline, but I laid back in bed, nursed baby girl a bit more, ate a bit...got a little nauseas and threw up, but it was better than throwing up during labor! After that, I was good...probably the adrenaline, lol.
The midwives left us for the night and we actually had some good friends stop by to congratulate us! Let me tell you, I was NOT up for that with Leenah, I was so weak and tired, I didn't see anyone for the first week, or at least 3-4 days!
This birth was AMAZING!
My mind says to me, yeah, I could do that again! while the other half says...let's just wait five years, please!!! lol
I really do think all that raw milk, butter and bacon made this birth so healthy...of course chasing after my toddler also contributed to my overall "fitness" level, lol. AND, having done it once, it is amazing how the body takes over the second time and goes, yep, I know what we're doing, let's get it done.
AND every bit of "false" labor I had was worth it, I know it shortened the duration of real labor, even though it lengthened my impatience.
So very thankful for this experience.
Once Summer was in our arms, the midwives came over for the "baby check" the next day and confirmed their suspicions, after doing a few tests and checks on Summer's range of movements, they said that she was only 38 weeks!!! Yep...I wasn't almost 42, I was only 38 weeks. Oh relief and guilt washed over me...but I let it go, because once again, God had everything under control. Again and again He shows me every step of my life. I am going to do my best to show Him how grateful I am in living each day fully with my girls.
So blessed!
